Airfare to Osaka

Hello, I have seen airfares shooting up from 700+ to 1k+ per pax for Osaka return flights in Nov 2017. I did not book that time as I thought of waiting for my waitlisted SQ flights. But I think chances are quite slim now so better just book it with other airlines.
Do you guys know if 1k is the peak fares for Cathay & JAL? Will it drop again? Confused whether to book now....

When ur travel date is getting close, the air ticket price sure increase lo.

Maybe u try ur luck on Skyscanner. Can get cheaper tickets if u dun mind transit

I have been monitoring SQ for 1 month & price keeps increasing. Think ard 1.5-6k per pax
Scoot also cost ard $2k+ for 2...do u think will the price drop down again?

I dun mind transit but even those transit 4-5 hours CX costs ard 1.1k+

I got scoot buz class to Osaka for $550 per pax before during sale. Of course that was I booked 3 months early.

No direct flight to Osaka. Need to do a transit at Taipei and bkk.

That time was OCBC card promo.

Not sure now still got or not. They always have bank card promo.

some ppl have mentioned that 1.5 hrs is sufficient, not long enough for you to go shop shop but definitely enough time to do what you need to do, clear immigration and hop over to domestic terminal, unless there is flight delay. but for that, they will arrange for you to go on the next available flight with seats as long as the flights are in the same itinerary.

Actually 1-2 hr transit is just nice. I cant stand transit more than 2.5 hrs

I just booked Cathay Pacific flights thru Expedia for Nov 22 night departure at $868 per pax. Think that's the cheapest I can find recently to travel redeye..

Think depends which period of nov as well? I book mine for this late nov last month through vietnam airlines. Ard 1.3k but business class. Think economy can get around 600-700? Of course need transit at hcmc or hanoi, around 2-3hrs.

Seems the date I want to leave is damn ex but I can only leave on 22 night or 23 Nov redeye in order to make full use of my annual leave so bo pian gotta pay extra...

My transit time is 90min. I think is enough cos' JAL website stated usually need around 70min only. haha... hope it is right.

I think the problem with red eyes is that the first holiday day ends up being really tiring, especially in your case transiting HKG where you get two -4hr flights instead of one long ~7hr one. The last red eye I did was to Sydney, halfway through the first day really exhausted and had to literally lie down on a bench and nap like a homeless bum lol.

Anyway moi planning a Feb2018 trip, just before CNY fly via MAS is around ~s$500 return ...

Ya its true but its the only way that I don’t lose a day... Most of my trips were departed from SG via redeye flights and for me after I reach a stage of extreme tiredness, then wont feel tired anymore and can even last till quite late at night
