Just seeking some opinions on airflow configuration

What do you think about the airflow config as shown below??

75Km3F4.png

Red = Hot air
Blue = Cool air

Dun care about the green arrow, but
Green = Possible fan placement to blow cool air into the case

Positive pressure system is to keep dust to the minimum since I hate cleaning oh so often..:s22:

CPU cooler works on push pull config, then top right fan exhausts the hot air out

Do you guys think this configuration work efficiently?

Your input fans got dust filters? Even with
DEMCiflex filters, very fine dust will still get in.

Why the cpu fans/rear fan are blowing into the casing? Should be blowing opposite direction.

Hmmm, why I did this config is because from the rear, cool air is blown directly to the push cpu fan, followed by pull cpu fan pulling out the hot air. Afterwards, the top right fan will exhaust the hot air immediately.

If I put rear + both top fans on exhaust + flip the cpu fans, the config becomes neutral pressure instead of the positive pressure I wanted.

I've tried 1 rear exhaust + 2 front intake fans (without top + bot fans) but the temps are higher than the one I've posted

You are creating too much positive pressure till the hot air is unable to dissipate out.

Front fan intake
CPU fan both of it face <------
Rear fan exhaust out <-----
Top Both exhaust out up.
Botom can use 1 120mm fan intake in for extra cooling to GPU. Might consider static pressure fan.

Okay I'll flip the cpu fans + switch rear to exhaust

Will post the differences here

Currently with this set up, my idle temps are 34C min while load temps are 62C max

Hopefully it can be better

My new config would most likely be
2 x front intake (both 60~ cfm)
1 x bot intake (60~ cfm)
1 x rear exhaust (60~cfm)
2 x top exhaust (30~cfm)

Intake = 180~cfm (150~cfm with demciflex filters)
Output = 120~cfm

Temps good already, stop being so anal about trying to extract every last bit of degree dips

The below config may not be the best cooling solution, but it has the best anti-dust performance you can get. All fans except rear are used as intakes, all intakes have filters (including the bottom fan slot). Bottom fan not used as the air pushed there will create turbulence with the lower front fan

top fan also intake? that means only 1 exhaust for the system?

I tot most people will use top fans as exhaust

Most people use top + rear as exhaust for optimal cooling. I compromise a bit on cooling for reduced dust build-up by having only the rear function as an exhaust. This creates positive air pressure as air is forced out of any tiny openings/crevices/openings of the casing where there isn't a fan.

This config also benefits from the fact that my AIO rad is mounted at the rear, so the top fans effectively bring in cooler air downwards toward the mobo & rad

Did you test this out for best results in terms of dust accumulation?

If it works i will adopt this method

I've been using this casing since July, and the AIO cooler since Sept. The amount of dust build up is tantamount your casing's pressure, fan filters, and amount of casing perforations to Some quick pics I snapped for your reference (never cleaned once);

I dare say even the inside of the casing is cleaner than my desk
