They only fly 3 times a week between SIN and PVG though and is a budget airline.

I would take MH since it's about the same price and timing is okay for me.

yeah is budget lol ... MH sometimes promo 398 ... but need transit ....
Would prefer MH too lol :)

Yeah, the recent promo that is ending tonight midnight is only $354 to shanghai or beijing though need stopover at KL but I don't mind.

Looks like MH offer have been extended.

I have taken MH to KUL and also to XMN. No complaints. Set your expectations low and you'll be fine. :)

Yeah MH is not a budget airline so all prices quoted are roundtrip all in unless otherwise stated.

Sometimes they have a short layover, sometimes it is longer (usually on return trip). I would just head to the Lounge if it's a long layover for food and to relax (Plaza Premium Lounge at Satellite terminal, you can access with either ANZ Travel Card or Priority Pass).

I may have plans to go Sanya, Hainan with a friend in July (not confirmed).

I see Hainan Airlines promo till end July for $275 :eek: Wow that is low! Route is SIN-HAK.

Will have to take the high speed train from Haikou to Sanya.

UPDATE:
Damn, friend just cancelled. :p

Budget airline Tiger would be around $150-200 without luggage.
