my osaka trip i bought 8 mths in advance from Jetstar lor 600+
then they tell me flight cancel 2 mths before i fly. Then i find cathay 800. That is where i realise budget actually not budget, for some cases normal airlines are better

Agree, sometimes budget are not that worth afterall.
For example, now SQ having sales 393.30 two ppl to sq. If you check budget airline, you add +25kg luggage and meal etc, your price for two ppl would exeed 393.30. Now Cathay also have promo, think fly taipei is 488 :)

Think got promo 99 one way to TPE, two way net is 284.51 exclude cc fees :)
Think most dates sold out soon :) Very fast ... Think the promo by scoot :)

Anybody have the promo code in Today's newspaper? There's 10% off it seems.

The days of good promos are gone I guess. The Fuel Surcharge makes a big difference, ranging from $10-40 per segment.

Of course, it is still cheaper than full service airlines, the question is how much.

Eh but last few days have good promo, taipei by tiger is 259 two way net, scoot is 202 two way net, exclude cc fees or axs fees.

Scootbiz having $228 promotion today, but keeps on changing between $228 & normal pricing, many times today.
