For the folks who get the interference, can i ask if you are wearing an Apple Watch?
I find that my airpods only get the interference when i have the Apple Watch on me.
Even then, it is intermittent.

I use with my Apple Watch all the time and the interference is only seldom and only in a split second.

Honestly of all the people I've seen wearing AirPods, are men. I've not seen a single woman who use AirPods.

Till date I have only seen 2 ladies using it.

One of which is my sister which I gifted AirPods to her.

And I’m generally very observant plus AirPods users are hard to missed
