Review gotta wait.. only very brief listening on few songs from Rebecca Pidgeon, Andrea Bocelli's Passione album and Safe and Sound from Hunger Games OST.. I must say, its way better then the AK100.. AK100 was to flat for my liking.

Comparing Safe and Sound on AK120 and previous DX100, I'd say it still looses out but not alot.. damn close on the 'errie' chorus part...

yea.. if u compare ak100 to ak120.. its really a lot of improvement...

No lah, don't say about CIEM, moi currently also don't have any ear phone to listen to unless I used those 10 or 20 dollars one which come with the mobile phone.......................

Lol SE846 is for wannabes.... so is the K3003.... WHO THE HELL WOULD PAY 1+K for universals -.- Too much money to spend.... But seriously they still fall under luxury.

It a package you get. Small and sound beautiful. Don't need the best headphone or IEM. But a decent good one will do. (Price of AK 120 ~ 1.5k = IEM 1/3 of it ~ 500-600). Music/sound is individual taste I leave it to the listener to feel it. Remember due to small size you can always add a portable amp to go like headamp or etc. So you have room to upgrade later if we need to power up big headphone on the more. Guys let listen and feel the music/sound then decide which is the best. They will never be the best. But your best is good enough.

Ciem is just letting you have a good seal. Doesn't mean universals shouldn't cost as much as ciem. There's no guarantee a 1k ciem will always sound better than a 1k universal. Sound is subjective after all. Besides, ciem usually has no demo. You are buying blind just basing on reviews. There's a chance you bang wall. Or maybe suck thumb cos spend so much bang already no turning back unless lugi more money to take another gamble. Resale value also takes a hit. You know, besides the better seal part, the rest are just potential downsides you have to risk paying 1k+ for. Better seal doesn't equate to better sound quality in the first place. So paying 1k for a universal isn't as wannabe as you thought.
