Wah Alaric bro...Nathan Latka really saboh u gao gao menz.......sneaky sia these Ang Mohs......:vijayadmin:

One should trust one's own gut feel after seeing this video, rather than reading 'testimonials'.

After all, this is Alaric himself responding to queries.

Are you convinced?

You can form your own conclusion.

I've formed mine.

All the comments from January 2021 and before are all from genuine students who have been through my programme before.

Whereas the comments after that are not by any of my students or clients.

A review from a customer should be worth 100 times more than a review from someone who has never been a customer before.

In fact, a review from someone who has never been a customer before should not be counted at all.
Ok based on your logic, the testimony from this guy https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4958326 is worth 100 times?

I always believe in stupidity has no boundaries. Thank you alaric for proving this again.

Also, please do not give up. It is a tough lonely journey but if you learn and pivot fast enough you may one day succeed at the better end.

So long

I wrote a response regarding this before:

Search google “Alaric Ong response to lowyat forum” to see it.
This person (Angelica) has never been a customer. So no, her review doesn’t count. She was negative even before the free seminar started. And she posted the review 6 months after the free seminar.

She probably did so, because 1) she was instructed by a competitor or 2) she just wanted to get traffic for the affiliate products that she is promoting

What do you define as a customer? Someone who pays for your course?

Are her accounts real or fake? She provided a lot of details so I am inclined to believe that’s a real testimonial. I am not going into your website to give you views. You want you can share your comments here.

How did you manage to get that person’s name anyway?

"I attended this young man called Alaric Ong FREE FACEBOOK MARKETING MASTERCLASS as advertised on facebook. From 10am till 6pm. Since he offered as FREE Masterclass, I think is no harm to attend the class to learn so gist how to do facebook marketing. One day before the class, the organizer SMS me said the class will extend to 8pm. Then I replied to the organizer and said if you can cut down the testimonial time then we should be able to finish by 6pm. Then the organizer replied to me said now we got 6speakers will share their high-income secret. It is not about testimonials. Inside my heart, I feel a bit fishy. Isn't it about Facebook Marketing Masterclass, why need 6speakers to share their high income? I a bit hard-hearted to go. Finally, I decided to go since I was free on that day, no harm go there and learn something new. Before all this, I have been to all this free class before and end of the day the speaker tried to promote this course. And I did sign up one course due to temptation and emotional. So this time I decided to left all my credit cards at home and just bring $20 for lunch only. That all.

10am, Alaric Ong said they going to start the class at 10.30am, and his section on Facebook Marketing is after lunchtime. He said will review to use how to create facebook ads with 5minute. Sound interesting right? The first speaker is a young man wearing so rugged look like a singer. He entertained us with some songs. His name is William, he started to share his story. He said is he failed in business and relationship in May 2019. He wanted to commit suicide due to his failure, When he about to commit suicide he saw Instagram ads, one motivational speaker want to come to give a talk. I can't remember which top motivation speaker is that. He decided put down his suicidal plan and attend the motivation talk. He said in the preview he decided to find himself again and enrolled all the courses till his credit card debts Rm150,000. After he attended all these courses he becomes reborn and charge up and found his life again. Now he comes out with his program called Project PYU which helps people out from depression. And the end of the section he said promote his course at Rm15xx. I not sure got people to sign up or not. As everyone comes here it is for FREE FACEBOOK MARKETING MASTERCLASS as advertised. That it.

The second speaker comes to talk about how to become an Infropenuer. His name is Dan Waxxxxxxxxx. He is not Malaysian. He shared his life story from the poor and how to become successful by becoming Infroprenuer. He said you can become an Infroprenuer by sharing information online like make videos on how to enroll the online courses. Eg how to open eBay account, how to dropshipping and course on excel for the beginner. He even showed us how much his students make by making videos online. One of his Singapore students make sing dollar $5000 for just upload a video and they converted the amount Rm to entice Malaysian people to see how much money is it. All these speakers are very smart to brainwash people. They keep showing the amount in Singapore dollars and converted into Ringgit Malaysia. As you know Malaysia our currency is weak for the exchange rate. 1Sing dollar equal to Rm3.2. He said his students only take one day to make video and upload it and the money starts coming in. At the end of his section. He makes an offered for his course which is Rm24xx. And to create urgency, he said he only open this offer for 25minute. So got about 10++ go to the back and sin up. In my heart said wah like that, after this everyone call becomes GURUS and starts teaching online. No wonder lately got so many FAKED GURUS around. Any TOM, DICK, and HARRY also can become gurus after the become Infroprenuer. After that, we break for lunch.

After lunchtime, we come for back for the Alaric Ong section, he said he will share how to create facebook ads with 5minute. At first, he talks about his story on how he does his first business, and come out with facebook marketing agency to help his Singapore corporate clients and how he grew his agency till got 100over people worked for him and his other success bla bla bla.. We still eagerly patiently listen to his story. He keeps brainwash us with sales talk. Ok, when it comes to Facebook marketing ads. He passes it one of his guy called James to do the talking. James also started telling his story to buy time. believe James is one who does all the facebook marketing ads for the Alaric Ong agency. James shared how to create facebook ads with 5minute. So we all open our eyes BIG and see. Guess what? He only said click boost post, select age group and click boost post now. Only 3 clicks and it take only 1minute. LISTEN is 1minute not even 5minute. That all the magic from James how he created facebook marketing. Bugger. Hello. All this button I also know how to click a few years ago. In my heart, all these people cheated people by advertised FREE FACEBOOK MARKETING MASTERCLASS. They never mention they got 6speaker who will share and promote the products. 1minute show not even qualified as preview what about masterclass!!! I attended what is called preview and masterclass. I know what is it all about. Then Alaric Ong takes over to promote his Facebook marketing course. His course is Rm1500 and he only opens this offered for 5minute. He keeps asking people to run to the back to sign up. What inside the course is only 4weeks online coaching program?! Rm1500 not even conduct a live masterclass in KL to hand on to show people how to create Facebook marketing ads. It is not worth the Rm1500 for this kind of online course which you can easily get for free when you put the time to search for information online. Many things you can get easily for free online. When Alaric saw the response are low, he keeps talking aggressive and brainwash us by telling us the concept of money is just a piece of paper, etc. He keeps talk fast and aggressive and don’t give a chance for people to ask him questions. He talked till out of the topic, instead of highlight the value of his course. He keeps doing the sales talk how to become salesperson and bla bla bla all the nonsense keeps coming out. He said if you sign up, you win, your clients win, Malaysia wins, Singapore win and the whole world win. What kind of nonsense he talking. He keeps brainwash us with money and money till I also fed up and I decided to WhatsApp's my hubby to come and pick me up early. It took 25minute for my hubby to come and pick me. Meanwhile, I keep listened to his nonsense brainwash. I was so lucky I left my purse at home. My advice for those who want to go for all this preview left your credit cards at home and just bring enough cash for lunch and transportation will do if not your pocket will bleeding later. They also said this offer only today and in this room. I will even give you an extra Rm1000 discount to lure people. They will make you think if you don't sign up now the price going to increase later. All these are ********. I can bet you, 1-2weeks before the seminar start they will SMS you and said we still have few seats available and they can offer the same price as in the room or even lower. It depends on how desperate they want the people in and how good are you at bargain for an extra discount at the last minute.

Finally, this is the most aggressive seminar talk I ever encounter. Chinese word said, “ Lower down the gate and let go dog to bite”. Sorry, I don’t know to write in Chinese words. I pretty sure those Chinese understand what I mean. The purpose of write up is to create awareness as they are too over. They cheated people come by saying FREE MASTERCLASS. This not even consider a preview. It just 1minute magics show how to create Facebook marketing ads which most people also know. For those people who want to go for the free masterclass. There are no such things as a free masterclass and don’t waste time on it. And beware of coaches from our neighbouring country, most of them come here to cheat money. There is some genuine coach who wants to help you be successful. You need to cool down and think carefully before you take out your credit card to swipe. Once swipe that it, as most of the courses only conduct after 1-2months later. If things happen, how you going to get back your credit card money after 1-2months. Bank will just say no to you. Beware many FAKED GURUS or mentors out there." - MD Gor Gor, May 9 2020. (https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4958326)

A customer is someone who paid for a product or service.
If they went for a free preview, they are not considered a customer.

She was negative from the start. Even before the seminar started. You can see my post about it for the details.

I’ve done free previews to thousands of people before. Having 1 or 2 haters or critics is part of the game.

a lot of times, they are made by competitors who want traffic to their own websites

Lowyat

For Lowyat, it is written by this person called MD Gor Gor. Her real name is Angelica Chay Wai Kwan.
The event she went for was on 14 December 2019, but she decided to post the thread on 9 May 2020 (5 months later).
That was actually the first time I organised a full day multi-speaker event with 6 speakers. Normally I only do my own 3 hour events where I am the only speaker. This was why I underestimated the time that all the other speakers actually need.
Therefore, I asked my event organiser to inform all the participants that the event will be extended and end at 8pm instead of 6pm.
Most of the participants were very happy that they would get more time to learn from the speakers, but Angelica was the only one who complained about the event ending later.

When I researched further, I realised that she has this website, www.angelchay(dot)com
09313B31-C2C6-4435-B13D-9E236B2A8E7D.jpeg

After you opt in, you land on this page
D47CC321-94E8-46BC-B26D-4CA9CE049F17.jpeg

Which then redirects to this page after a few seconds.
E7AAE03B-ED96-453E-955C-2FA23005FBA0.jpeg

Upon looking at this, I realised she was doing an affiliate marketing strategy to get traffic called product reviews.
There are white hat (legitimate) and black hat (illegitimate) ways to this strategy.
The normal white hat way to do it is to do a review of the product and inserting an affiliate link to ask people to click and go to that website to purchase it and earn affiliate commissions.
The black hat method (the one that she used) is to intentionally say negative things about that product to get traffic from people who were searching for that product, and then introducing them to another affiliate product that you are promoting instead to leverage on the attention that the original product is getting.
This way, whenever people search for my name and they see her post, she would get the traffic instead.

I tried to clarify this with her personally but she blocked me on WhatsApp.

I tried to reply to the thread, but she deleted my comment every time I replied. Apparently the person who posted the thread on Lowyat Forum can delete all the comments or replies on the thread.

Here is what I wanted to reply on the forum:

Dear MD Gor Gor,
I understand you went for an event on 14 December 2019 held in KL. Which was about 6 months ago.

First of all, I want to apologise for leaving an unpleasant experience for you.

Sorry that you have had bad experiences attending previous programmes.

Sorry for wasting your time.

Sorry for wasting your husband’s time to come to pick you up.

Sorry for sharing about what I’m passionate about, which is Facebook marketing to you.

Sorry for organising a free masterclass for you to attend.

Sorry for flying international speakers from UK, America, and Singapore to Malaysia to share knowledge with you for free

Sorry for selling to you.

To be honest, that was the first and last time I organise an event with 6 speakers because the logistics and costs to put together such an event is a huge nightmare. Normally I just do 3 hour events where I’m the only speaker.

After speaking to thousands of people, I understand that there would definitely be some people who get rubbed off the wrong way.

Also, sometimes competitors pay for people to leave negative reviews about other coaches. (Not saying that this post is)

I don’t normally post long posts, but I thought I would just write a quick one on what’s in my mind.

The coaching industry is an often misunderstood one. A lot of people have been scammed or cheated before and become sceptical of the next “guru” that comes into the market.

To be honest, there are many times that I’ve thought of stopping my coaching business. Because it is an industry that is the most closely related to being mistaken as a scam.

And I completely understand why people assume it to be that way because there’s no tangible product. The product is the result of the client.

When I sell coaching services, people are not buying my time, nor are they buying my content. What they are buying is a better version of themselves. My product at the end of the day, despite being invisible and untouchable, is the most valuable, because all human beings have a deep intrinsic need for growth.

After reaching hundreds of thousands of people with my ads, there would definitely be haters. There would definitely be people who are disappointed. There would definitely be competitors who get jealous.

I realised very early on in my coaching career, that that’s the price that I had to pay in order to add value and reach even more people.

For example, I have a property agent who made $80,000 in commissions 1 week after attending the course.

Insurance director who has recruited over 100+ people in his team

Or a 21 year old marketer who makes $12k/month

Network marketing leader who makes $100k/month.

And a 19 year old marketer who made $11.5k in the month of August.

For verifiable evidence: www.alaricong(dot)com/p/testimonials.html

(I put it there just in case another troll asks)

For those of you thinking of going into the coaching industry, it’s not as easy as you think it is.

I think it’s super important to have a compelling why.

For me, whenever I feel like calling it quits, I look at the results of my clients and it keeps me going.

Going for seminars has changed my life. I remember when I went for my first seminar when I was 16 years old, that was when I told myself that when I grew up I was going to be a speaker.

Every program that I’ve ever invested in has given me returns in many folds. And I think the best part is that it shortens my learning curve and allows me to achieve what others achieve in a fraction of the time.

For me what keeps me going now is not so much about the money. The only reason I would continue my coaching business is because I see myself as an instrument. As a tool that people can use to empower people to become the best versions of themselves.

Since God has given me these gifts, I must not let it waste away.

I will focus on the light, and shine. No matter how many people hate, get jealous or make fun of me. At the end of the day, I will only focus on those people who have placed their trust in me.

I understand you might find some of the sales tactics sleazy, salesy and manipulative.

That was something I thought and contemplated for a long time.

The reason we chose to use them is because, I know that my program has truly helped and served a lot of people. As a coach, our role is to help our participants take action to achieve the results they want. Some might mistake that as “brain washing”.

At the end of the day, our goal as a coach is to facilitate the participant’s growth. Sometimes, destroying of limiting beliefs is important for that.

Once again, I’m sorry you have felt this way and I wish you all the best in health, wealth, love and happiness!

Thanks and regards,
Alaric Ong

Because out of 200 people, she was the only person that complained before the seminar about us extending the time to add in the other speaker.

Everyone else was happy with being able to learn more from one more speaker. She was the only one who was negative even before the seminar started
