How is the screen? Based on the photo, when screen is off, it's not really black, slightly white compared to the bezel.

Just checked on this, the black isn't very different from say the Nexus 5X. It is definitely noticeable if you catch the light in the right way.

Bought this as a backup for when I travel. The main reason is that the software is almost like stock Android so it's not much different from my Nexus. Seems to work well on all the casual stuff like email, WhatsApp and browsing and battery life was rather good based on the two days i used. Don't play games so can't comment. Operation is quite smooth. Only problem i found is that it can't connect to Singtel WIFI. Comes with a screen protector and casing so quite decent value.

Review Alcatel Flash 2

For the kind of spec, I was impressed at how smooth the phone runs over my 2-week review. I've never enjoyed a $200 phone that much. Works really good for my kind of usage. I use a lot of social media apps, email, messaging. I want my phone to be responsive, fast app opening and transition. No gaming.

Anyone have the Android 6 update for the Flash 2? Goggled seems it was released mid last year.. but now seems all the links to the update file not valid liao..
