Alert sound when battery is fully charged?

Hey guys. Noticed this issue a couple of times. Whenever my iPhone 7 charges to 100%, the phone will give this alert. The alert is the same one you get when you plug in the phone, but it shows 100%.

Just now I looked at my phone and it showed 98% charged. A minute later the alert came by and it showed 100%. Charger fault or battery is worn down badly?

It’s usually the software having issues calculating how much charge.

It’s like sometimes the iPhone is at 100% but when you restart it’s at the late 90s%, vice versa.

So far I’ve only done a soft reset. Should that suffice?

probably cable issue or lightning port issue?
