Alibaba break support is only temporary due to shortselling pressure. Although I have sold mine earlier, that is because it didn't fit the trade plan (decoupling from USA stocks). But Alibaba is now severely undervalued.

Since China doesn't end their zero-Covid policy, Alibaba cloud, shopping infra and Ant payment infra are essentials for convenient daily living.

In a bear market, investors buy from shortsellers.
In a bull market, investors sell to momentum speculators.

Investors and speculators trade against each other. That is why, investor strategy seems stupid to speculators (sounds like ARKK?), and speculator's short term strategy look stupid to investor (sounds like chicken genius?)

Pick your strategy and then learn what is cut loss or hedging with options to reduce drawdown.

sometimes if you catch market on uptrend its Ok to adopt this strategy and neglect risk mgmt

however as one make more and more profit the portfolio AUm tend to grow overtime and one may double or triple your bets

Once the market turn and one is trapped on downtrend, it may potentially wipe you out. beside the loss due to margin call, there is still the unrealized loss from the portfolio

i made some gains over last 2 years when sti was 2500 and the more i made the more i pump in, and my AUM last month was 6-7x my original portfolio, sorta had a wakeup call and trimmed it down by 50%, human nature is programmed as such, once you taste success one think he is on god mode already.
