Looking for a gaming portable notebook as i have 2 homes to travel to..

anyone has any review or inputs?

looking at alienware 13 and aftershock xg13v2

i own a alienware m17x r3... but kinda disapointed as the performance is not as what i expected it to be..

The current Maxwell GPUs makes compromise a thing of the past.

Alienware will never sell its laptops at the lower price point of Aftershock laptops, so if your concern is budget optimisation, go Aftershock.

LOL definitely wont be cheap here in sg. since when has alienware compromised abt its laptop pricings. their pricings are always one of the top few even if their specs are unable to match it when compared to other gaming brands such as gigabyte, msi or asus etc.

i'd expect similar high prices when they eventually land in sg. definitely way higher than prices in the us. better start saving up if youre to get 1 lol!

if you chat nicely to the online dell SG sales team, they will offer you discounts and may get the AW 13 for around 1.8-1.9k SGD

Why not just upgrade the graphic card ? I think can go to GTX 880M

i heard got throttling issues.... my m17x r3 with gtx 560m still able to play most games now but the weight is a killer man..

the casing is abit sticky ... i am thinking of wrapping it with those 3m sticker for cars..
