deciding between these 2 laptops. Going for a 980M configuration for both. The difference in specs are SSD, Asus 128 vs AW17 256gb, and the touch screen option for AW17.
However, i went into a few stores to enquire about them, it is not just once that the sales people talked about reliability issues for the Asus laptop. Things like sound, screen and etc. Is that true? I would not mind paying more to get the AW17 just for a peace of mind, but I do not see much threads here talking about the problems of the Asus G751JY... Anyone has any first hand experience to share?
I also have 3 other concerns which is affecting my purchase decision. 1 is the fact that Skylake is around the corner, they have no 4k screen, and lastly no laptop seems to have HDMI 2.0 equipped for me to plug into my 4k TV... Are these valid concerns? Should I wait till maybe next year to get a laptop just to address these concerns?
