Alienware and MSI notebooks?
Which one you think is better? I would like to be portable, and able to carrying around and I'm a Internet Marketer, and do a lot of video editing and rendering. What are your opinion?
Ehm, classes of the laptop you are comparing here are not quite right.
Aftershock Halo is consider Ultrabook class notebook with no dedicated Gpu like gtx765m but it does run on a very capable integrated Gpu Iris Pro 5200 with i7-4750HQ.
Whereas Alienware and MSI notebooks like Alienware m14x and Msi Ge40 both have a dedicated Gpu gtx765m & gtx760m respectively. both of them will outperform Iris Pro in terms of processing power. Not to mention they also uses a higher end Cpu i7-4702MQ and i7-4700MQ while comparing to what Halo is running on.
If you really need a dedicated Gpu with more powerful processor, maybe you would like to take a look at after Aftershock Xg13 or 15 which run on i7-4700MQ & Gtx765m.
In short, you can consider Alienware m14x for the blings, MSI Ge40 for the longer battery life, Aftershock Xg13 for the pure performance advantages.
Last and not least Aftershock Halo for the slim profile, longer battery life and decent performance.
P.s. I owned a Aftershock Xg13, although it is thicker than MSI ge40 or Razer blade, but it is definitely portable at a weight of 2kg.
