Hi,

I purchased an alienware x51 two years ago, and along the way i have had many issues with this computer.

About 8 months into buying the x51 i started having problems while playing games(Dota 2). It would lag ingame and hang sometimes.
The computer would sometimes fail to start and have 5 beeps or 1 beep codes.

I would try to solve these problems by using troubleshooting techniques and calling dell support. The computer would usually work fine after "fixing" it but then it would always start having problems soon after.

The most recent frequent problem is that whenever i switch on the x51, it powers on but the monitor always goes to sleep mode. How i usually fix this problem is by restarting the x51 a few times and changing the computer monitor to VGA connection. Even if the x51 has successfully been booted up, there will still be another issue. While surfing the internet using google chrome, my monitor will black out and come back about 15-20 secs later with the error "nvidia driver has stopped responding and has recovered."

My warranty has long expired so at this point what should i do??

Most likely a condemned GPUs. Remove the GPU and try internal graphics only.
