The Yield 2.64% is the dividends this stock pays P.A?
Is there any books that teaches or explains pertaining to SGX dividend investors?
Hi, noob question..
I bought some REITs that pay dividends on 29 Mar, Its reflected in my CDP account, my broker is vickers. I have DCS with CDP that is linked to my UOB account
but my dividend nv came into by DCS account nor my dbs account, i thought it will be credited to my dcs account upon dividend date? The only difference is, this time the dividend is in USD (manulife reit)
Is there any way to know that i will entitle for dividend in DBS Vickers or CDP ?
For example today is XD of ST Engineering, how do i know in platform that i will get dividend even though i sell by today ?
It’s by looking at the Book closure date of the Dividend announcement in SGX platform or go directly to the stock’s website(under invester relations news).
What you are looking for is etf, not funds.
Removed your advertising msg here just awhile back. Funds require a cost that is a multiple of etf for doing literally the same thing.
Anyway, for single stock that pays consistent or even incremental dividends during crisis, look no further than the CCC list.
There are literally 100s of such companies on the list.
Not sure if you don't know these things or choose to selectively promote certain stuff.
Here's my favourite chart once again, to show capital and div gain for the Telcos
My preference is to buy 2 out of 3 and leave out the potential underperformer.
For Telco - bought Singtel/Starhub, leave out M1 (M1 still not attractive to me)
For Banks - bought OCBC/UOB, leave out DBS (but now DBS is the most attractive one)
What is CCC list?
Where can get the list?
And, thanks bro for your first post. Just finished the whole thread.
Champions contenders challengers list of dividends. Google that.
i have a question if i start investing now... (diversify out of gold and silver bars? LOL)
Should I go for SGX stocks for dividends, since there is no SG tax on dividends?
Or should I go USA / Canadian stocks / funds for dividends for the global exposure? But I know USA tax dividends got taxed by their govt
What do most of you do?
I have been buying small piece of sgx stocks over the years but I think it is time for me to take a serious action on my retirement portfolio
