All my contacts disappeared!

So today I checked my iphone when I woke up and all my contacts suddenly disappeared. Had a backup of all my contacts on iCloud so it was ok. But has anyone else had this problem? Is it because of the new iOS or has it happened to people before?

What if people have business connections and don't have a backup of contacts. Then jialat lo!

Normally it would only be affected when you are connected to iCloud. If not, it will not disappeared unknowingly.

It happened to me on my iphone 4s iso 6.
my icloud wasnt activated at that time.
Contact was gone after my phone auto reboot.
best of all i did not backuo my phone for 1yr+

Last time my phone is Jb, so can retrieve back lost contact. Now I just use Google contacts.

Happened to my iPhone 4, not sure what happen, but the other iPhone 4 ok, same os.
