Its a good idea actually.
The policies can be debated in more diversed aspects. Explainations and information scrutinised and maybe further improved.
With open and assorted debates, the people maybe more acceptable or educated on the rationales of these policies.
If they can't bring it into parliament, maybe a different platform like a portal or forum?
The opposites candidates are not without their merits, they are ceos, drs and profs anyways. Letting them go is a waste of good talents and they be letting the inventor of the solution to a tricky problem slip through their fingers.
