So u dun foresee urself getting a 1440p or 4K monitor in the next 2-3 yrs? By then, you would have to change gpu liao.

So, the 3.5gb + 0.5gb vram wun really matter with your 1080p monitor for now...

But GTX 970 scared will affect future gaming with the Vram issues at hand...been looking around the web searching for people using the last Nivida Driver 361.x (15 feb 16) but no one posted if most games are been affected by the vram at the moment...:o

Have seen people playing it with more than 3.5GB + 0.5GB vram and still runs smoothly...but was last year news...den again this is what we call "heng, suay" got a good card and have that issues... :(

You think too much. I'm sure most of us here will vouch for gtx 970.

bo budget to move that top tier some more scared my system can support or push it even better.

and beside that dunno when i will upgrade my system...:o

You really scared of a lot of stuff leh :s13:

If bo budget then bo pian :s13: Want to think of 'future' gaming when future specs not even out, that's a rich person's game. Average person goes for 'bang for the buck'. So the 970 falls into that category, especially since you get easily snag one these days for $400 range with qoo10's $100 off $500 coupon promos.

Is this price better than Qoo10 with coupons ? New to Lazada...

The price of what? It's not possible to give a general answer whether it's better or not cos there's so many different items and different sellers, starting price of both platforms may be different, postage price may be different. The only way is to compare a specific item listing from both platforms, apply the available coupons and calculate final price then you will know.

Just hypothetically, if imaginary item A is selling at same price $50 on both qoo10 and lazada... just off the top of my head, qoo10 I think can get a similar discount for $50 item, but dependent on things like whether you have sufficient qpoints etc, which not all people will have. You could do $10 off $50 cart coupon, with max 1000 qpoints ($10), so that's $20 off $50.
