no diff lah if sign OOC form means you still have to go back tekong for bmt and be chao recruit

If you haven’t complete your BMT training, you’re still recruit.

And if you’re still pes fit, you will have to recrouse.

Once posted to unit, rank should be PTE. But need to do recourse BMT at a later stage once your PES is fit for BMT.

Whatever rank you hold then, eg CPL, remains. Usually MINDEF will gather all those OOC into a batch for recourse. So there will be PTE up to even 3SG doing recourse as a batch. Yes some 3SG got their rank through appointment (non-combat vocation).

Look at your payslip than you will have no problem knowing what rank you are, as REC and PTE has different basic pay.

REC & PTE have the same allowance and PTE will get a higher allowance when he fail to be promoted to higher rank after a period of time.

you are now a PTE.

rank cannot go backwards one, unless demoted.

some of my unit mates were PTE, LCP, CPL, 3SG, occifer etc.... even though they did not complete BMT. some are PES E, then up-pes, become eligible for normal combat BMT.

after that, go back to tekong for BMT recourse with rank
