There’s no one true religion.

There’s only one and true teaching which is Buddhism but is not a religion. Calling Buddhism as religion is quite oxymoronic as is like one saying his/her religion is math or science or English

First I will like to say. Incense and etc to pray is Taoist practice, not Buddhism.

Last time Buddha used joss sticks because he is praying at warring areas to help the deceased. These places are places where there are many dead bodies lying around. So the air was foul smelling so to concentrate, he has to overcome the smell using the incense sticks.

Christian spirits ah, they go to their version of heaven or hell. Which is different realm.
