How do you ensure they r mentally capable of functioning in society, alot times children dont like to share about their mental wellbeing

very good question.

i try to know their friends, especially the close ones.

we started from young, make it a habit for them to invite their friends over. When they’re over, make it fun, so that their friends wanna come over more. From there, you’d get to know the friends and then you have conversations to know what they are up to…

Not sure about the useful course, but do agree that passion would go a long way….

eg. few years ago, computer science courses was super popular, but wi5 AI now, I’m not sure ….

there are many elderly that I know, that are working because it’s their choice. Yours truly is one example.

and my late father, was indeed collecting cardboard even though he didn’t need the money…

so… I cannot say that they’re wrong, it at the same time, there are also those that are doing it to survive…, and most of those, have a story behind them…
