hi guys! first post. recently downloaded GTA V and played it on my (quite) new Acer Predator(+ i5 and 8GB ram) that i spent nearly $1k+ on and the game was literally unplayable. So out of curiousity i just did some research and found out that the package that Courts sold me this PC with came along with some a LAPTOP nvidia driver "GeForce GT635 2GB" that made me realise all the games i played only get like 20-30 FPS.

So obviously i want to upgrade my computer so that i actually run GTA V smoothly even on low settings or even play low end games such as DOTA 2 with a reasonably good FPS. should i upgrade my ***** lousy driver card or get a new RAM processor? suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

I think it is just the graphics card :s22:

But I don't know if your mobo will lock out your graphics card, and if you need to upgrade your graphics card you pretty much need to upgrade your PSU as well

"GeForce GT635 2GB" <---Low End GPU.
If you want to upgrade you will need to open casing and that might void your warranty.
And also will need to know your PSU enough juice or not and Casing big enough for big fat bui bui GPU or not.

your graphics card is a low end model, if it dosen't void the warranty then change the graphics card.

If I not wrong is last year model already

If still in warranty would be those units with a GT745 or GTX760
