I have a nook with glowlight and it has been a negative experience so far.
I should have done more research, get more reviews before purchasing it last year.
There is this known defect of the glowlight screen tearing for Nook with glowlight.
Its quite distracting when I want to read at night, with the dots of light here and there and their numbers increasing over the past few months. If I read without the glowlight, its normal and the defect is not obvious.
I suppose I can get a refurbished one to replace it but the hassle of sending it back to the States deters me.
I strongly suggest you to get a tablet to read .pdf files or .pdf magazine because you can pinch and zoom with ease and it comes in colour. I gave up reading books with .pdf format as it feels so "scanned" if you get what I mean. To me, .pdf does not work for a ebook reader, stick to .pub.
