Amazon.com misleading ad..

I have received an email from amazon with the following Promotion

I need a Kindle to read ebooks also couple of my friends. So I am trying to combine and place order for 3 kindles


I got the following message while checkout

After chatting with tech support, Amazon don't ship this product internationally from amazon.com and requested me to order from amazonglobal.com


When I order from amazonglobal.com it redirect back to amazon.com


Anyone have similar experience?

Not all Amazon products are eligible for AmazonGlobal Saver. Only products which can be shipped to Singapore are eligible. Kindle cannot be shipped to singapore directly, with or without this promotion. The only way to get that is to use a freight forwarding service i.e Comgateway

When you search for products, be sure to select AmazonGLobal eligible criteria to see the products u can purchase under the promotion

It's not a misleading ad at all. (The free shipping is great for other products.) Amazon hasn't been able to ship Kindles to Singapore since 2007. If you want to buy yourself, don't buy more than 2 at once. So buy 2, then buy another, to avoid GST.

Thanks. I thought I will buy 3 units each costs only $49 promotion today.
So total only <$150
