Armound 9KG is the max... Eh, Amazon giving free shipping, sure got limits what... If not, ppl sure hoot 50kg or stuff...Also not cheap...

In most cases, casing, speakers, monitors are those that will be over the limit... if slightly over, maybe can try ask for waiver... if it is different by a fair margin, den hard to say.

That 17.2 pounds, is it the actual weight or volumetric weight? I ahve a feeling they reject coz your volumetric weight overshot the limit.

17.2 pounds is about 7.8kg. its shipping weight.

Shipping weight meaning the package dimensions multiply together AKA volumetric weight or case weight?

Or just post what casing you want get?

so... your complaint is? looks like your combined purchase (must have other items since your total cart amount is USD250+) resulted in a shipping weight of over 20lbs, hence no longer eligible for free shipping to Singapore.

Try seperating the purchase, like your case with something lighter/small which will hit US$125, and the rest as another purchase.

Saving on delivery is still saving for other purchases. If it was a complain, my post wouldnt end with a question mark.

Not All Items are eligible for the free delivery to Singapore. It must be sold and shipped by Amazon and not a 3rd party.

In your case, it shows

Ships from and sold by OutletPC.

OutletPC is NOT part of Amazon but rather a 3rd party vendor who list their product off Amazon website to sell. Amazon doesn't sell or ship this item so it cannot bundle with your other items for free shipping.

For eligible item, it would show

Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.

An eligible item that was canceled brought the total below $125.

For some reason, this thread became a pretty hostile place.

Anyway, casing is never on my list of things to get from Amazon though. Not surprise for them to reject due to the size of the box. The case might be ITX, but they still come in a pretty big box to protect the content. Therefore, the volumetric weight might have exceeded the limit. :)

Nope, this thread will stay coz it favors local distro. Nothing will be deleted. Mark my words.

Favours local distro how?

He wants to get it from Amazon, they dont have it for free shipping plus its OOS hence he chooses to buy from local distro instead, which is just another alternative like buying from the next food stall if your favourite stall is closed.

Its true that since Amazon started the free global (SG) shipping, many have benefited from it mostly due to their lower markups and your sharing of many good deals, but you seem to be getting a little over the line here.

First, sorry for the reply to watsup_ken coz i was using mobile, didn't hit the right reply button. Thus giving the impression i was pointing/accusing someone.

My 2 threads with word "amazon" got deleted. I've seen some threads (posing threats to local distro) being moved here and there. Reason given was posting at wrong place.

Now i wanna see how this thread is going to be...stay? deleted? moved?

That's all i wanna say. Nothing against anyone. Peace.;)

You think the Amazon free global (SG) shipping will include high volumetric weight items? ie Profit < shipping charges
Don't be silly.

Amazon is almost a non-profit organisation! it is already incredible that they have started the conditional free international shipping.
