Long time never buy amazon liao. Got few times received wrong and damaged items. Want to return for refund also very troublesome. Not to mention that the shipping is expensive if u r not a prime subscriber. Poor customer service also. I don't understand how they can become so big.
Nowadays I just buy from lazada and shopee. Buy Amazon only if the items I want are not available elsewhere.

Used it mainly for fresh order and some items from Amazon US or Amazon Japan, and the same account also give you access to Prime Video and Prime Games which is yours to keep as quite a number of them goes to GOG and EPIC Games Store.

Amazon SG outdated business model, can go join qoo10 soon.

Taobao and shopee are just cheaper, faster, and more consistent pricing. Customer service also suck, want to chat with the 3rd party seller to ask some question about the product they are selling also cannot.

I normally avoid 3rd party seller on Amazon unless it is a local seller and deliver straight from Amazon warehouse...

i think amazon.sg is just to find things you can buy from amazon.com and amazon.jp.
hehe
Indeed... The only deals I got from Amazon so far are by searching on .sg site, then I changed it to .com to purchase

Because they are simply not available on the SG platform.

Huh?

I think I spent over a thousand this time during Amazon's Prime Day.

I bought a lot of rubber duckies. A lot.

Not kidding about the rubber duckies.

I recently bought Haagen Daz Ice Cream Sandwich Ice Cream too, but from Fairprice.

There was a 1-for-1 promotion.

With the kindness in my heart, I volunteered to help move all of them back home to my freezer. 😆

Mostly use amazon to get electronics and stuff...cabt say their things are cheap...but from time to time they do have cheap deals but u must watch the market

Recently made a couple of amazon fresh orders, feel that they kinda give more coupons or discount (5 dollar off or 10% discount)

However must admit amazon usa have the best deal even with counting in the xchange rate and shipping fees

Already said many times, buy from Amazon US where prices are lower for special items during black Friday(not sure if it's still valid after Trump's tariff war). Special items like Asus routers, rare CPUs, Samsung tablets with discount on BF.

Other times, buy from shopee if you want fast delivery or from Taobao or pinduoduo, if you can wait for consolidation and sea shipments.

Amazon Singapore has little to no significant advantage over shopee or Taobao or pinduoduo...🤷

Yah, even I see the prime day sales, I think good. Then go over shoppee see, they price match.

Like u say, buy during US sale is best. But have to sacrifice things like certain things no international warranty.
