normally throw in another 20-30bucks to your total cost...

Nope. I recently got my Rosewill Keyboard and my StarCraft II Heart of the Swarm from Amazon.

Do check that your options for Amazon Global Elegible are checked because only select items can be shipped here.

cheaper compared to other forwarders?

Doubt so... if you see on facebook, You would need to pay 5% of your item value. I think their business concept is that they consolidate orders to be above US$125 and below US$300 to qualify for free shipping and not incurring GST. And, i'm not sure if they have their own US address, or are using a forwarder's US address. So, its something like going through a middleman with another middleman.

Best is to find frenz to consolidate orders, or through MO. At least, that is more safer...

first time order electronics from amazon? Due to certain regulatory concerns...not all electronics can be shipped directly to SG...need to go through forwarder...

Even if same brand items, say like GPU, some can ship, some cannot.

Even if you filter global shipping, some items still cannot ship to SG
