Amazon or local distro?

Hello guys just wanted to get your opinion which one would be better, if I buy a 1060/1070 GPU from Amazon or from local Distro?

The obvious issues are with rma, anyone has any experience with rma from amazon? is it easy or super troublesome?

Moi so far sibei heng never DOA or need to RMA before within Warranty Period.
If saving can be $50 or more I will go Amazon.

Well for Amazon to help u RMA will be quite hard, cos I rmb someone did stated that Amazon covers 30 days from the date of purchase/arrival, aft that you are on your own to find the brands manufacturer locations. Unless u get EVGA and request that u would like to RMA in taiwan den at least your shipping fee for RMA will be lower.

Just my 2 cents besides EVGA, XFX also honors RMA requests from us.

I sent my XFX 270X to Hong Kong for RMA. Just need to email XFX customer support to get RMA approval.

Ya unless you wanna die die get a particular brand like EVGA. For me I die die wanna get EVGA graphics card, coz they look so nice!

I bought my eVGA psu form amazon also. Then i register inside eVGA website so they know. Next time any issue also easy to work with them.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you and how long did the whole process take? Also which courier or postal service did you use?
