Im looking for an AMD chipset for around $500 that includes

cpu+mobo+8gb ram

i don't mind intel but i heard they are abit more exp

i have everything else my gfx is 7970

i do game and 3d rendering

you should get an intel chipset as they cost almost the same as amd in singapore and perform much more better. Btw is your 3d rendering very intensive? if so get an I7 you won't regret.

H81-DGS + 4770 ~ $445
8Gb crucial ram ~ $96 (advise to get 16gb for editing)

What's your current PC specs? I presume not the one on the right >> right?

as an AMD CPU user, I can only say never use an AMD CPU other than for gaming... work related stuff like video rendering you can go pek cek until jump building

Sure or not? Have you checked the SLS price lists already? I have not found an AMD cpu+mobo bundle as cheap as those Pentium or Celeron. So expensive. Now like AMD is priced for the rich, but with worse performance at the same price point. I still can't rationalise why I should pay more for worse performance. :s22:

Lol... How u know? They might have a degree in India wor...

lols india degree quite easy to get... and if they really do studied biz, i think they have a hard time applying it. I think they should have their prices lowered to increase demand and clear their current stock on hand. Better than they holding on to old stock which are ex too
