AMD cpu upgrade to Win11 will affect performance?!!!

I got the news from my friend his laptop is getting slower after upgrade to Win11!!!
Is there anyone can help me to check it's true or not? Cuz i gonna upgrade to Win11 as well but my laptop was eqquipped AMD cpu....

You already know it's a new OS so these kind of teething issues shouldn't come as a surprise.

Even Win 10 a few years old already still got so many issues with new updates, then y'all still want to install a 3 day old OS.

I will probably stay on Windows 10 for at least a couple more years as I game a lot on my PC. Even though I am on i5 8600k and TPM 2.0 which can support Windows 11.

Cos I know performance will suck big time.

at the moment my system was not impacted by the upgrade, my windows system info both secure boot state & VBS was off and not enabled by default.

running more 3Dmark test now.

worth considered for those are affected by upgrading window 11, seems the issue are generally affected those with clean and fresh install of windows 11.

Just a quick reference for my recent 10 test run of 3DMark CPU Profile & TimeSpy.

Data for Windows 11 = 10-Aug-21 onwards.

CPU Profile remarks: results was consistent with windows 10, no huge different (OC)

TimeSpy remarks: 16k score (CPU OC, GPU standard), 17k score (CPU OC, GPU OC)

It is understandable that software troubleshooting is harder than hardware and common sense would be many will avoid buggy software.

nevertheless no software is 100% bug free and all the engineer and programmer working days and night trying to resolve the bugs for us which I totally solute all engineer and programmer in the world for their hard work, thank you for making the OS easier and fun to use.

Hope the new OS will be more stable soon.

It doesn't help if MS is not proactively fixing the issues identified. There is a Explorer memory leak issue that some claimed that was reported during the beta phase, but wasn't fixed when they released it. If it is a remote issue, i.e. affecting some people, I think it is fair to say that it could have been missed. But for a common problem that affects most if not everyone, it is unlikely to be missed. Unless the testers are all inexperienced people. Then MS will need to have their own QC checks.

i am wondering what is the quantum of the memory/RAM leak that in concerns, and how many windows explorer a normal pc user will be opening?
