AMD demo Freesync. no hardware requisite?

amd's version of g-sync. seems to be able to work without a new monitor. however I am not sure what is this "VBLANK" hmmmm.

your monitor needs to be VBLANK available....

i think both companies know about it, just that never implement. here a thread from 2010 lol and it is a nvidia card

so i am thinking that maybe amd see nvidia chut stunt (g sync), then they not happy. to prevent people from going to g sync and buying new g sync monitor, they come up with something free: freesync

watch carefully, the left one is abit jerky while the right one is very smooth. the right one is with free sync turned on.
