AMD FreeSync technology or Nvidia G-Sync technology

Both AMD FreeSync technology or Nvidia G-Sync technology implemented in the monitor, does it has any impact of the type of graphic card use?

Example like Nvidia card use on Nvidia G-Sync technology implemented monitor will perform better than a Nvidia card use on a AMD FreeSync technology implemented monitor.

I believe you need an AMD card to run FreeSync and Nvidia card for G-Sync. FreeSync however is not propritory like G-Sync though. FreeSync monitors are cheaper, but with AMD graphic cards being more expensive currently, the cost advantage is nullified.

u got a gtx 970, amd gpu are overprice atm. getting a gsync monitor may yield a better long term investment for you

Using Nvidia GPU on AMD monitor.. so far pretty flawless... i think if the GPU can maintain at good FPS, you wont experience tearing which for me is the main concern.

Monitor with Nvidia G-Sync technology implementation like not much choices to choose from.

Performance gain from gsync ain't much difference as long as you don't dip to very low fps (lower than 50). The 970 ain't going outdated anytime soon on most 1080p resolutions monitor. So I won't suggest getting gsync or freesync as of now. Just get a monitor that have a good panel and warranty support will do. Sync or not, ain't that big difference unless you face very low fps or playing in professional competitive scene.
