Ah, CPU market. Probably not doing well as nothing new comes out from them yet other then apus.

So most probably it will take a plunge further till something new comes in.

GPU on the other hand should be doing well.

Like how? Buy more Fury X and FXs? :s22:

Or demonise competitors until like they cannot live without the 512MB VRAM or like forging the most terrible and greatest antagonist with all the antitrust practices? :s22:

Lol, yes! I have bought FX9590. Going to build a pure AMD rig even though I know its slower than Intel one. Reason is because I am AMD supporter so even if I got Intel, I should have at least 1 AMD rig at home.

I have also 2 Fury X. Going to get another for 3 way crossfire. Again to support AMD.

Three horrible options :/ I think the problem with AMD is that their competitors can afford to throw more money in research and development than they can, especially in the CPU front.

Doubt so. As long as AMD can still hold on to providing graphics cards to the Xbox and Playstation platforms, they can at least hold on to some revenue. They are holding on to the lower sections of the graphics card market whilst Nvidia is retaining the higher end of the market. So AMD may just be able to hold on to break even, not really make profits. Of course if the console and tablet markets decide to decline, then AMD is doomed. Else AMD is still floating fine.

Why worry? AMD itself also no kan cheong. If it ever was indeed concerned, its CEO and engineers would have bucked up long time ago.

Really is a case of 皇上不急,太监急。

AMD skipping 20nm so means they are going below 20nm for their future product launches right?
