closest is deskmini. paired with 2400G you can play 4k games for less than $500.

in fact i sold away my nuc to get this because for the same price ($400) of gen 8 i3 nuc model you can get the deskmini ($250 in lazada) + 2400G ($150 amazon sg) to achieve i7 performance instead of paying $1200 for hades canyon nuc

Transcoding videos. I can transcode videos to my required format myself but don't wanna waste time on it....it's a huge time sink after all. Rather have Plex/emby do it for me on the fly.

Anyway, the plan is to use Google drive and mount it as a drive on the server, rclone any data from torrent to gdrive, then point Plex server to the gdrive for transcoding.

Hence I need something more powerful. Most Celeron won't be able to handle bukit timah and stream 1-2 1080p streams.
