cause its unpopular in singapore. Reason being: the prices of the mobo and cpu are much higher in singapore as compared to other countries like us or canada, hence most of the time you can just top up abit more to get a intel chipset.

About one year ago the situation in local shops was still much better than now, it got worse even though the FM2+ platform seems to be relatively popular in Europe and the US.

AMD platform or related parts sold in SG is much more expensive than in EU and USA...
SGD200 in Germany can get Asrock top level board already...although CPU alone price is only SGD20 to 30 cheaper than SG but consider after 19% VAT that is still cheaper....

Yup, Germany is quite good for shopping components.

so far the town i am staying has not much pc component shops...all those price i saw was from ebay.de or amazon.de; cannot do VAT refund if I buy from there
