AMD PowerColor 6750XT no display

Hi guys,

Need help.. I have a PowerColor 6759XT that was purchased in May 2023.
It was working fine and suddenly there is no display. I need to force shutdown the system alot of time then it will boot with with the Windows repair screen.
I have just done a RMA on it and come back was fine for the first few boot.
Suddenly it has no display again.
Everytime I can hear the windows booted sound but there is no display.
I search online and people say might be the driver issue. I have tried alot of different driver but same issue.
Anyone can advise?

Try with a different dp or hdmi cable? And also on other r gpu ports.

Tried different cable different ports.
Swap to a old Nvidia GPU no issue at all.

did u ddu and remove nvidia driver before installing amd driver?

Yes, done a ddu to remove nvidia driver before installing AMD driver.
Have disable windows driver update also.

i presume that when u mentioned trying out different driver versions u also used ddu to remove amd drivers before trying out a new version? as a side note, amd also provides their own cleanup utility, which i personally use in conjunction with ddu.

Yes, used ddu for every uninstall.
I will try out amd clean up tools.
But gonna try to let the system boot up first.
It making me crazy..

Only way is to find another rig to test your 6750xt out.

Yes, it's working fine when i swap to back to my spare GPU.

Worst case is you have to do a clean install of Windows. (Not reset)
Download all the motherboard drivers chipset, audio etc.
Install Windows offline (Do not connect internet)
After motherboard drivers install than install AMD Graphic card driver.

Sometimes can be driver conflict as most are not aware.
If you update or install latest driver while the PC is connected to the internet.
MS Win update will install the missing driver so when you try to install driver
it will conflict.

Another suggestions on top of those given by bro/sis here would be to check if your psu is healthy and supplying
enough juice to this power hungry gpu. From manufacture's website, this gpu draw 260w and require psu with a minimum of 650w.

PSU should be fine, AMD drivers are not prefect in the past there were cases of black screen.

What PSU are you using? It is not just about the wattage.

Done reinstall OS still same after few shutdown.

What PSU are you using? It is not just about the wattage.

I'm using Gigabyte GP AP750GM. Beside the wattage what else you referring to?

I certainly hope this is not the same Gigabyte PSU that was exploding in reviews. It was a big problem that Gigabyte did not want to own up for a year long. I can't remember the model, but you should Google to check. Hopefully they fixed the issue.

The reason why I asked is because the wattage is not the main factor in a good PSU. And that impacts the stability of the system. On lower power hardware, it may not be that apparant. So I suspect the PSU may be the cause.

nope, different psu. the aorus ap-gm is a pretty okay psu, the non aorus p-gm is the exploding one to be avoided.
