AMD processor

Hi ...anyone using AMD processor ? how was it good or not . need some advice . Cos is cheap form building a game PC .

$300 sub range you could only buy a fx6300 with a sli mobo. If there is no need for sli it will be a fx6300 with a 970 chipset and its already $260 range.

You can still buy and play games normally. But at a higher power consumption and much more heat output, it makes more sense to buy a i5-3350p with a ivy board.

Not unless gaming industries trying to change to utilize more cores then you may consider. But the amount of games that utilizes more than 4 cores are quite negligible. May be not now but perhaps in the future.

Yes they may not be able to pull a much better results for their 8350 vs the sub $200 i5 range.

They have slightly better results over the i5 3550 but quite negligible. But thats just stock speed. 8350 is unlocked. Maybe can try with oc results which may be slightly better.

Since as a owner of fx6300. It did somehow perform quite well when oc-ed for a more core count games. But then again, power consumption and heat output is just too much.
