Maybe wait for powercolour offer since sapphire only got 2 yrs warranty as compared to powercolour having 3 yrs.

The heat is causing the fan to spin faster and in order to stay within the temperature threshold the fan has to spin even faster. This is to prevent the card from having its speed throttled. And as such that is why the 290 can perform close to 290x cause the latter fan spin threshold is only set at 40% whereas on the 290 it is set at 47%.

Lol I dun really care about 2 or 3 years warranty. I care more about custom cooler

Do you guys think i should just order the R9 290 card from convergent store? Or should just wait a while for other brands to be available?
Anyway im too busy to go to sls so after ordering do they deliver to my doorstep?
