Yes, I am fairly certain this is the real thing you guys, in the Futuremark database an entry appeared under device ID 67DF:C7, that Hardware ID has been tied to the AMD Radeon RX 480 for a while now. The product is listed at 1266 MHz clock frequency, which was announced for the AMD Radeon Rx 480.

Now the result that surfaced was from 3DMark 11, the Performance Benchmark. A bit underpowered benchmark I'd say. But the result is interesting none the less as the Radeon RX 480 would position itself precisely where it was expected to be, at a GeForce GTX 980 performance level closing in towards Hawaii (390) and Fiji (Fury).

Not bad for the price. With this, can expect second hand prices of gtx 9 series to drop further

Crossfire this plus a freesync monitor will save you lots of $$$ to be on par with a gtx 1080.

One problem, AMD official driver support always very lousy though.

Seriously dude... you personally ran into any problems?

Not on my PC but my mobile AMD gpus always end up with custom drivers cause the official ones will either crash those relatively unknown games or have massive FPS freezes

Then I think you need to correct the fact that AMD official drivers always very lousy no? I do agree that AMD seem to have forego their mobile GPU over the past few years, but I do not agree that their desktop GPU drivers are pretty decent, especially of late.

Anyway, just curious how does the "Combine score" get calculated? I do feel the numbers look odd since if we see AMD R9 Fury seems to be taking the crown on most of the test, but the Combined Score is still 2nd? Likewise for the R9 480 where most of the test results are better or very slightly worst and it has the lowest score...

Easy

if(vender_id == "0x1002")

{
score = score * 0.9
}

More seriously, combined score looks at the combined test

Seriously what driver issues are there that impacts consumers besides the overheating.

Used red and green for so many years, no major issue I can think of.

Wonder how's the crossfire support now. If they want to push their RX480 crossfire over competing GTX 1080, the current state of their crossfire solution ought to be very stable (in fps), wide games compatibility and acceptance, and lastly, scalability.

nVidia cards clock frequency getting stuck at lower than normal, and requires a system reset to recover. I first saw it on 400 series, and apparently 900 series today is still affected.

Lol. You have not seen how Nvidia screws with the mobile gpu community yet.
