AMD RYZEN 2200G questions

Hi Guys,

Bought a MOBO (B350M - Gaming Pro) but the bios isnt updated. Thus, just wondering if anyone here has any solutions as to how to update the MOBO? Read online that I could actually loan a boot kit from AMD. Has anyone tried it before? Will they send the kit over to SG?

Did you try it to confirm its not updated? Otherwise, you may need to take a trip to the distro or from where you purchase it to get it flashed or replaced respectively.

I bought it from newegg. and ya distributor confirmed it is not updated to latest bios. and they say they dont update bios of mobo cuz they just mainly do resell. Does SLS do updates? and roughly how much the cost?

Not sure about pricing but service charges typically at 20-30 bucks I supposed. If you're not in a hurry, apply for a loan kit from AMD to update your BIOS. Or ask around to see if anyone willing to borrow you their 1st gen Ryzen for updating or not

You probably need to get in contact with US AMD for the loan set though.

I bought the same gaming pro b350m from amazon, i did inform them to give me the latest batch. Receive it with bios dated December and able to boot. Flashed myself to the latest bios

Hi seek some sifu advise . How you guy deal with Win10. If you upgrade from an old PC.

Cause my current unit is Win7 retail version , free updated to Win 10. Thus not sure how win the old win 7 keys work

Do you
1) purchase new OEM win10..

Or
2) fresh installation from win media creation kit. And use win7 key direct

Or
3) call Microsoft and try luck

Or
4) use back the old hdd with same OS. And reupdate driver etc.

Need to save some money.. since my old rig already dead ..

Thanks for your input guys, I have reached out to MSI local office and they redirected me to Corbell as they are MSI local distributor. I will keep yall informed on the updates of bios. If really bo bian, then I will ask AMD to send me a boot kit.

I don't carry this model so it's definitely not my stock.
You have to refer back to your retailer/e-tailer that you purchased from.

Nah, no real problems. Ryzen 2 series has no GPU
