Getting more and more ridiculous. I ordered in early Dec and my shipping was Feb 21 even though it was supposed to ship within 2 weeks (slim 7i). It was expedited to 31 Dec but just early last week, the shipping date became blank. Thinking if I should just cancel the order and get a Dell. Same online price, lower specs but at least I get a laptop.

I did. My second order placed on Dec 11, which due to an admin lapse did not get cancelled, was due to arrive end-March. It's what I am using to reply to you now cos it arrived last Monday, Dec 21.

They will probably update the shipping dates to better dates, especially for their professional T/X series (since corporate customers are not very good at waiting)

Can't say the same for consumer class, since from what I've been reading, their wait times tend to be delayed again and again. Also, they appear to be shipped from a different factory. Be patient and see, since it's not very far off anyway.

The caveat is that they only accept their own discount codes that they can earn, and they usually are not the best.

Like the code I previously shared was rejected by shopback, and even after their cashback, it was still more expensive comparatively.

Also, Shopback is in the news for data breaches.

I used FRONTLINER for my laptop with shopback, was FRONTLINER code from them? I tot it was only SHOPBACK5, SHOPBACK20.

You can check the parts they typically ship with the laptop at Lenovo's Support site. Assuming it's Type 20S0 (this is what Google threw up at Harvey Norman Singapore's web site, so another T14 user needs to confirm), the parts list can be found here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/sg/en/...-type-20s0-20s1/20s0/parts/display/compatible

For RAM, the range of options they use: Samsung, Ramaxel, Micron, Hynix.
For SSD: Intel Optane, Samsung, Toshiba/Kioxia, WD, LiteOn,

Would recommend you CTO the highest soldered option (16GB) and then just buy your own to add.

As for adding a SSD into the 2242 slot, yes you can. However, you need to note the following: NVMe PCIe x2 only, not SATA, M2 2242 dimensions, and it must be B keyed (or B+M keyed). The 2242 drives that ship with are M keyed so they will not fit.

have gone from

to 24 december
to 18 december
received 19 december (laptop lost the plane)

Just stick with it a bit longer, anything can happen.
