I know you guys are gonna flame me... But after few months with the ThinkPad X13, I really can't get used to the keyboard.
The main issue I have with the keyboard is that the keystrokes I input always come out in the wrong sequence if I type too fast. I think this is described before and has been an issue for many years but never resolved:

So I end up making a lot of typos. Eg when I spell my name "Reuben", if I type too fast it will come out as "Reubne" even though I am very sure that I press the e before the n key. So I end up becoming very cautious whenever I type with the X13. OTOH, the previous IdeaPad 720s that I owned had a much better keyboard, though I understand some of the newer IdeaPads have very shallow keyboards instead.
So I wouldn't write off the ThinkBooks completely. Looking at the Gen2 versions of ThinkBooks with tiger Lake processors, they seem to have come a long way, with 16:10 screens on some models and dual USB-C ports with Thunderbolt. Apart from the lack of dedicated page up and page down keys, I think the new ThinkBooks are pretty good and shouldn't be written off just like that. It's also much cheaper than an Intel equivalent ThinkPad.
