won't have issue. I bought a second charger with 65w for my Slim 7 Pro. Maybe for the first time or within the first few days, it can detect it is a 65w and shows a message. After that, it runs the same as the 95w adaptor.

Saw the Legion 5 with 6800H selling for only $1699. Not sure if there's a mistake in the pricing, but I thought it is quite a good deal.

Too bad i am not a fan of gaming laptop. I can't possibly carry this and walk around all day.

But anyway, I am not buying gaming laptop. Looking at thinkpad or thinkbooks with Ryzen 6000 processors.

i also looking out for laptops with 6800u and no dgpu, but sadly most of the upcoming ones are with lpddr5 rams (soldered on rams), don't have so-dimm ones..

Only one time inform you something like the power of the charger is lower. No message subsequently. Technically 65w will not underpower the laptop.

lenovo sg website got thinkbook 13s gen 4, 14p gen 3. but like very expensive... if select 6800u, can hit 1.8~2k, which is very close to legion 5 gen 7 pricing already.

Not sure about those. I usually will go for at least a 15inch/16inch screen since the laptop these days already have slim bezels, so the size is similar to 14inch laptops. The T16 price is okay. P16 is super expensive for the same form factor and spec.

For legion price and form factor. Legion 5/5 Pro is 50% heavier @ around 2.5KG, and T16 is around 1.7KG.

T16 with 6800U and iGPU costs $1791.54.
Legion 5 with 6800H and 3050 cost $2272.94.
Legion 5 Pro with 6800H and 3050TI costs $2468.88.
All the above is with 16GB ram.

Anyway, you can't compare an ultrabook with a performance notebook. They are meant for different target audiences. Performance notebooks are much bulkier and come with a giant brick due to the discrete GPU, they are not as good for moving and carrying around. When you buy a laptop, you are also paying for internal design and form factors.

last time had to contact the inside sales rep to get a better code.
I want to monitor the prices first and purchase when I feel the price is right since it fluctuates a lot.

They not really generous with discount nowdays compared to last time..

Pro account must buy bulk then they will give better discount

In my opinion, soldered no RAM is not that bad actually. The key problems are (1) do they have the amount of ram that you need/want, and, (2) how much is the top up. The benefits are that the LPDDR5 is more power efficient, and the higher memory bandwidth which is useful for the iGPU.

When I get the 2TB SSD, will install Gears of War, Call of Duty Vanguard + Modern Warfare, Metro Exodus PC Enhanced, Hellbound, Serious Sam 3, 4, Siberian Mayhem, God of War....gonna use about 500GB from existing drive, and see how much is left of the 2TB drive.
