saw it on Lenovo shopee seller. As a layman the specs looks good to me for the price but I am seeking more expert opinion as I am not too sure if it’s better than those ideapads
judging from the design of the keyboard, i dont think its going to be better than ideapads. that 8gb of ram is also a worry, as lenovo mostly (if not exclusively) offers soldered ram on their non gaming laptops, so it is likely not upgradeable. the price is indeed quite good for the specs but i feel this will be the dealbreaker for me, though it might not be as big an issue if u are just a light user and dont use that much ram.

The other option is ideapad 1 but its 5500 so its an older ryzen but seems like free upgrade to 16gb. Let me check if they can upgrade v14 ram. Though I am light user and seldom game

Updated first post since I open this thread since 2019.
PS Google the notebook you are interested for review as in market there are a lot of both Intel and AMD
notebooks.

They replied, no backlit and cannot upgrade ram. But still thinking if it’s worth this one vs ideapad1

Looking to buy a laptop to be used at home 99% of the time with some gaming ability.
Also another device in case required for HBL for my kids.

Any games would be more casual games rather than FPS or AAA. My old aftershock has the 1050.

Saw this Atrix mentioned in this thread. So considering the ideapad 3 with gtx 3050, i5 11320H, 16gb. That comes up to around 1350. amd variant with 6800HS is $100+ more but with 1650 only.

Don't think the i5 would be a real limiter if u don't do heavy power stuff right?

I want a 15" laptop as it comes with numberpad for my kids to do HBL more easily. And I'm preferential to lenovo keyboard as i use a thinkpad E14 at work. And from my cursory typing at those big stores, i still prefer lenovo keyboards.

You can also check out Gamepro.
This 2 are the biggest reseller for gaming laptop. For lenovo, Atrix is the main reseller

Waiting for more ryzen 6800 labtops

I was aiming thinkpad 14p amd with oled screen. But encounter similar issue like the rest here, order kena cancelled

Am considering yoga 7, but i dont like the rounded design overall and the gap between the screen and the keyboard area as it flips 360 degree.

Asus s13 a bit too small as it is a 13.3 inch instead of 14. Very limited option for 14 inch labtop with oled screen with ryzen 6800... :(
