Sure, I go ask rightaway.

Feels really good to see renewed vigour and interest in AMD components among the fan base, thanks for posting this thread. :)

Check out the TDP and recommended coolers!:eek: Looks more like a marketing exercise.

At those clocks, whatever that's left of PD power efficiency is gone to the dogs.

Hopefully, it isn't just some paper launch or vapourware... or as said, some marketing exercise... for 1200W megaPSUs. :)

PS: Lucky I do have a few units of > 1kW megaPSUs all ready.

we r aware of the 220W TDP.

wow now then i know FX-9590 comes with HD7990? is this info reliable?

if it really comes with 7990 i doubt it'll be cheap man..

7990 alone is alrdy S$1600 liao...
Think you read wrongly, that's the recommended card to use with each CPU model. :)

i dun see the need of using 1200W PSU unless it really builds in with 7990.

With their component recommendations esp. with their top HD 7990 card, think they are trying to showcase a over-the-top AMD rig hence the megaPSU recommendation too.

Hazarding a guess there. :)

MAD MAD =:p=:p

Think we can start a MAD-4-AMD Klub ®™© right here in this forum already with the few founding members spotted in this thread. :s13:

Lol sure. Count me in.

Bet this chip will also be delayed like the 8350. It takes forever to reach SLS.

Guess I gotta buy from amazon again.

Having TDP 220W and curbing the heat isn't much an issue imho, just pair with good cooler unlike Intel these days what is the point of having TDP of 84W and "crappy TIM"? and getting the 5GHz magic number getting harder and even water cooling can't tamed it :s13:

It's sandy bridge < Ivy bridge < Haswell lol

But all is not over with Haswell ES yet :D

Current GPUs are in the range of TDP 200+W and even more and can be tamed with air cooling so it's feasible

I'm more interested in the stock cooler and mobo for 220W.
