I have had this for 5 years. Got a lot of points through this card. The thing is that you have to make some effort because Amex is not as widely accepted as the other cards.

Anyone has any thoughts to share about this credit card? Thanks!

I believe the points go into your Krisflyer account directly, so you would need to earn sufficient points within 3 years to spend the miles. Other cards might have a one time transfer fee, but no expiry, so you can technically accumulate until you have enough to redeem something meaningful.

The best value for redemption is business / first / suites class. Of course if you can spend $100k to $300k and above within 3 years, do look for the best earning ratio too.

The 5000 point after 1st purchase is easy to clock

5000 is too meagre, comparing to 50k or 100k from foreign cards. Its a good start, but if one does not earn enough for a redemption, 5k will also be wasted.

This is a lousy card.
Always gimmick advertising. 50 + 50 % more miles. Waste time.

There are many others card better than this.
At least 20 to 50% better with no limit.
