read the news, it's just a warning flag telling you it's unsafe before the usual install page where you hit the"install button". A little more hassle but not totally terrible.

good. It sounds like what my TrendMicro Security app is currently doing, it scans the app before I hit install from PlayStore. I've seen apps which they warns, huawei apps on google play store though

The reason this happens is because of the Scoped Storage feature that Google will implement in Android 11. Scoped Storage will force apps to access its own isolated storage rather than getting access to the entire Android filesystem. It’s a security and privacy feature that Google wanted to implement Scoped Storage in Android 10 but postponed it to give developers time to adapt their apps to support the change.

Ok. Does it mean that soon Android apps will behave like iOS apps where apps cannot access the file systems easily?? It sucks if that's true.
