Android app for "How much in SGD huh?"

Hi, when we do shopping overseas, we often ask how much it will be in SGD. Take out all the mental guesswork and arga-ration with this android app. It uses SGD as base and help you quickly convert (presently) 13 currencies. You can also set the rate to that you had obtained at the money changer.

It's a free app. Just hope that it can be useful to you. Any suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Seems like a useful app, but would be great if the settings actually work, bro. At the moment I can only change currency. No way to go into settings (tapping settings doesn't do anything) and no way to change any rate whatsoever.

hi, thanks for trying and your feedback. Perhaps I should have provided a mini tutorial. To change the rate, just tap on the line above the SGD amount, for 1 SGD = 23.30 TWD. It will pop up a dialog for you to enter the rate (for that particular currency), which will be saved.

Got it! Didn't update any rates yet (haven't go change my pounds and euros), but yeah that does bring up the dialog box.

What's the settings for then? As of now it does nothing... (Note 2 user, btw, if that helps in anything.)

oh yes, currently the settings don't do anything. Sorry that it is misleading. I was thinking of having some options such as update rates etc.

Thanks for your feedback. Once you change your money, you can set to the rate you got at the moneychanger so that it will reflect your exact costs. Have a great trip and hope the app can help u during your shopping. Thanks once again.

in certain countries, it might not be safe to take out your handphone so often. It might get stolen.

Just write down conversions on a piece of card (i use the blank side of a namecard) to get a rough estimate. It might just be safer.
