Backed up my Defenders 2 game but couldn't restore it to a new phone... the data can be restored in Titanium Backup but once the game is started the game is reset to level 1.

Guess the game has some checks on the device that it's running on

It's hard to enforce protection on Android due to the open source nature of the platform, since there's no control over the platform. Just look at Angry Birds - $0.99 app on iPhone, free on Android with in-app ads. I think it's a good example of how your monetization strategy has to be different on iOS and on Android.

Sadly not every app/game is going to be those million download counts like Angry Birds, which now have paid ad-free variants and paid HD versions in parity with their iOS counterparts, so your argument holds somewhat less water.

Effective anti piracy measures actually exist on some apps, like Widgetlocker (iirc you can't just install and use it without some hoops). It's just that it isn't standard on Android, each dev has to hack their implementation of it. Google has an implementation that's easily overcome, and that's the main problem - The aim isn't to eradicate piracy, not that sideloading/open nature of Android causes problems, but that Google isn't exactly a shining bastion of light in the security area, or at the very least putting more effort into that. Kinda like how much effort they put into controlling the hardware/OS fragmentation.

Can't start the game....it keeps rebooting the startup animation. Same thing for another Glu Mobile game...Samurai Vs Zombies. Anybody on SGS2 ICS getting the same issue?

Nice game but it force you to buy glu coin. Coz after a while the princess quest cannot be completed unless u upgrade the lift.

And there's a missing dragon bug or roll back bug.

doesn't really force you, can be earned slowly just like Tiny Tower or any other freemium game?

Yes, there's quite a bit of bugs in this game like you mentioned.

hate that there's no online backup or ability to add friends like iPhone's version (hate the same thing for many other Android games). damn scare to kenna the reset bug
