On a side note, N.O.V.A 2 also released for Android. :D

It's the first Gameloft game to make my laoya SGS crash and burn, so YMMV.... :(

I hate gameloft's business model. It's frickin greedy and inconveniences us at the expense of all the features that made buying stuff from android market so great in the first place.
Hate it, love it, it's also a testament as to how Android Marketplace is not well planned out in advance for much bigger games, and how conducive Android itself is to piracy.

That's been slightly remedied recently, but it still be a case of too little too late.

Yes, Android versions of Gameloft games cost more (for ex Shadow Guardian's approx US$6.90 vs iOS' US$5.99), but I'm guessing it ain't easier for Gameloft to have to set up data downloads for every single game they sell, due to Google's policy of having to download everything from the cloud.

Everytime I have to install a multi-hundred megabyte game on Android, I wistfully think of how they might implement something like iOS, where I can use my PC to download it much faster and then transfer it to my phone. Something akin to Dungeon Defenders' manual download of assets. Of course, it also doesn't help that Android's hardware fragmentation means they need to have specific download packages for each GPU type.

It's never as simple as why Gameloft doesn't want to use the Android Marketplace....it takes 2 hands to clap. :(

I think that Android's truly open system is what contributes to some developers having asstastic decisions as well.

Anyways, They need to implement more basic stuff like game settings and saved games stored in the cloud. App settings too.

Eternal Legacy looks nice!! Haha but if it's not on the market, how is it considered "released" ? :s11:
Because Android is so open, people can choose different ways to release their apps. :D Good or bad, you decide.

As long as you can install and run it, it's considered "released".

Of course, you want open, you get people having different ideas of how to implement stuff. Not helping is how Android market is always a work in progress, while Apple pretty much nailed it down at first shot.

I wouldn't call it truly open. The recent Google and Skyhook debacle slams that theory thru and thru. :( Anything that affects how Google collects more data is a big no no I guess. :D

Sorry, no support for pirated games here. :(

You should ask at the place that you climbed from.

You somehow think the climbed version not the problem? :s13: Reminds me of people sending in crash logs to Anderwebs, author of ADW EX with their pirated version.

I never lie. :D

You can check here to see which games are already released by Gameloft. Most are NOT on market of course. :D

http://www.gameloft.com/download-games/android-games/most-recent/

It also depends on your hardware....if it's not supported on your model then they won't appear. :(

:s13: i never said you lied, just that gameloft method of distribution is a tad confusing at first glance. But the surprising thing is, when I chose my phone from the drop down menu, atrix 4g, it says that my phone is currently not supported, but if i were to select LG optimus 2x a payment page would then appear. so what gives? If i were to download the optimus version would it still work?

In theory, it should since both using Tegra. But don't quote me on that. :D

Easier way to find out? Google for your hardware + game title and you should have a pretty good idea if it's supported.
